Ana Camila Colón-Villafañe is a Staff Attorney for The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to joining the Young Center, she was a Senior Staff Attorney for the CARA Family Detention Pro Bono Project in Dilley, Texas. Ana Camila represented detained asylum-seeking mothers and children from Central America before the U.S. Immigration and Citizenship Services and the Miami Immigration Court. After being admitted to the Puerto Rico bar, Ana Camila was a Judicial Clerk at the Court of Appeals of Puerto Rico. She obtained her J.D. from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law in San Juan, Puerto Rico and her B.A. in Environmental Science from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
