Diana Lopez is a Staff Attorney for our Los Angeles office. She was born and raised in Mabton, Washington. As a recipient of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Achievers Scholarship and a first-generation student, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. She then completed her Juris Doctorate at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. As a law student, she had the opportunity to intern with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program as a certified law student where she was awarded the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate Award for her hours of service and commitment to underserved communities. Diana began her law career as the Staff Attorney/Clinic Manager for the Inland Empire Latino Lawyers Association where she provided court representation for survivors of domestic violence and teen parents, spearheaded legal aid clinics in low-income communities and expanded community outreach efforts in the Riverside and San Bernardino County.
