Kelly Albinak Kribs is the Immigrant Child Rights Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Young Center’s Chicago office. Ms. Kribs graduated with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she served as Child Advocate and Public Interest Law Initiative Fellow with the Young Center. Thereafter, Ms. Kribs clerked for the Honorable Rebecca R. Pallmeyer of the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Illinois, before joining Sidley Austin LLP as an associate. While at Sidley Austin, Kelly practiced in commercial litigation and conducted internal investigations. She also maintained a healthy pro bono practice, including the successful representation of two Syrian asylum seekers. Before attending law school, Ms. Kribs worked at a Washington, D.C. think tank on Latin American issues and taught English in Nicaragua.
