Madeline Witters is the Development and Executive Assistant for The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights, where she provides support for the development, executive and management teams. Madeline became involved with the Young Center in 2013, first serving as a volunteer, and then joining the Chicago team as a Legal and Case Support Intern. In addition to her time at the Young Center, Madeline also interned at the Vera Institute of Justice, Center on Youth Justice where she researched risk assessments for juveniles, later writing her undergraduate thesis on this topic. She received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Public Policy and Law, Letters, & Society from the University of Chicago in 2016.
